Recording, Mixing & Producing
‘Headin’ South’
This single by The Sugar Hollows was primarily recorded and produced solely in my studio at Good Weather Records in Richmond, Virginia. The drums were outsourced and tracked at another local studio in town.
‘Shenandoah’
This song from The Sugar Hollows’ debut album was recorded and produced solely at Good Weather Records. This ended up being the most streamed song from the album.
‘Floatin’’
This is another song from The Sugar Hollows’ debut album that recorded and produced soley at Good Weather Records. The idea was to craft a song that people could enjoy and relate to at the beach. This is a fan-favorite at shows.
‘Ode to a Friend’
This is a song from Richmond-based singer-songwriter Alex Dimas that started as a simple picking pattern on electric guitar. We added the accompanying instruments in the studio at Good Weather Records and curated the overall ethereal vibe of the track.
‘Alma Mia’
This is the second song we worked on for Alex Dimas, and it is the title track for her EP that was released in 2024. Much like ‘Ode to a Friend,’ this one began as a picking pattern on electric guitar and was produced and arranged in the studio at Good Weather Records. The lap steel was outsourced to a Philadelphia-based musician.
